Tayo Aina, a popular Nigerian YouTuber, has shared his remarkable story of overcoming travel restrictions imposed by his Nigerian passport, in a heartfelt Instagram post and a subsequent YouTube video. Tayo revealed how he acquired a second passport to explore the world freely.

Tayo’s struggles with his Nigerian passport began when he faced repeated visa denials, despite meeting the requirements. He humorously described the frustrations of providing unnecessary documents, like his grandmother’s criminal record, only to be rejected. The list of accessible countries for Nigerians seemed to shrink, limiting his travel aspirations.

Determined to explore the world, Tayo adopted a strategic approach. He started by visiting smaller, more accessible countries like Ghana, Kenya, gradually building his travel history. This tactic eventually helped him secure visas for South Africa, Morocco and even the elusive Schengen visa.

However, the journey was far from smooth. Tayo faced numerous rejections and setbacks over five years, prompting him to seek alternative solutions. In his YouTube video, he revealed that he acquired a second passport from St. Kitt and Nevis, granting him the freedom to travel without restrictions.
